Thoreau's Delight

An unforgettable moment captured in the Mass. portion of the Appalachian Trail. After descending Mt. Greylock, we were lucky enough to stumble upon this mountain pond with a wonderful cabin right on it's shore. Definitely a moment straight out of Walden. The fall leaves were just coming into effect, and the water was glass. A memorable and nostolgic spot for any thru-hiker in Mass.
